In a world burdened by conformity and unthinking rules, there are a select few who dare to defy expectations, challenge the status quo, and venture into the unknown. The hackers, are the ones with the talent, vision, and courage to create something better, and we need them more than ever.
For too long, hackers have been misunderstood and underappreciated, their potential undervalued. It's time to change that, to acknowledge and celebrate the unique gifts that hackers bring to the world. You as doners can be the lifeblood of our best futures.
Before we ask you to help these teenagers, think about a time when you needed someone to help you.
Think about someone you now call a friend, who was once a stranger. Think about how different your life might have been if you had never met them.
Think about an opportunity you wanted desperately. Perhaps you weren't the smartest person in the room, or the most experienced. But someone trusted you and gave you a chance.
And because they believed in you, you worked harder than you ever had before.
